Freedom isn't free unless you go back to the very beginning before Adam sinned. Freedom was free until Adam sinned then man quarrelled and fought with each other. Freedom came at a price because of man's sinful desire for power over each other. Freedom was fought for by words or by actions. If you look at countries that were enslaved or oppressed, they fought for their freedom. This goes back to Greek and Roman days. When the Greeks were oppressed by the Persians they fought and won their freedom until they were conquered by the Romans. In Rome's early days groups of barbarians from the north tried to conquer them, but they fought for their freedom and won. The fight for freedom is still going on today. If you look at Taiwan, they fought for their freedom from China. Some in their country want to seperate from China, but some want China to rule them. China is still oppressing them through words in government. They are still fighting politically for their freedom. So freedom to me is a difficult thing to define, but this is my understanding of it.

You have some interesting ideas here. 'Feedom was free until Adam sinned...' that is very well said.
You go on to point out why freedom now comes at a cost 'because of man's sinful desire for power over each other.'
You argue that now we must fight for freedom and that we can fight either with words or with actions. Those actions could either be violent or nonviolent, couldn't they?
You lay out a very good discussion of political freedom. I have a question for you, though. You started by talking about the freedom that Adam had before he broke covenant with God. How was that freedom different from the struggle for political freedom that you describe? What are we trying to gain by political freedom?
